Doing the fourth podcast I really tried to work on the light and audio.
IN some cases I had to low the audio level in Imovie to eliminate some background noise. I think light was really good this time, I used two lamps to lighten my face a little bit.
I also tried to work with having slides and pictures on top of the prerecorded video. It was interesting to work this way. In general, I feel much more comfortable working with the Imovie this time. It becomes more pleasant experience!!!!

Svetlana, great 4th podcast. I am looking forward to your final video, it sounds really interesting. It is always great to have access to a video on design principles for beginners in graphics. This could definitely be a big help for design and mass comm students.

Svetlana, good job. I really like your use of titles and images in this podcast. The titles help viewers know exactly what you were talking about in each section; and the slides help visualize some of the ideas you are going to talk about in your final video.
I thought the lighting was very nice, using lamps added a nice warm feeling. I did not notice any problems really with the audio like you mentioned. Although there may be a slight change in audio level, it was not noticeable.
I liked how you showed some of the sources you are using. This adds credibility to your final project. You may want to mention in your final where students can look at these books, i.e. the library, especially the layout ones. Also since you mention looking online for information you may want to include some Web sites that students can go look at.
I am looking forward to seeing your final video and learning more about graphic design and layouts. I think it will be a great help to students both in PR and Advertising classes as well as any student interested in graphic design.
Svetlana,
Great job on podacst #4. I think that your project is definately relevant to the program, and would be useful for any mass comm program. The way that you used the sources as part of your pictures, and then other pictures to break up your talking points was a good addition. Those changes help to hold the attention of the viewer.
Great job all around!
Great intro and transition music. Your slide graphics and pictures are well chosen and help tell your story effectively. You have an excellent project, and you have presented it very well in this podcast.
I loved it! I thought the idea for your project sounded great and I wish it could be shared with the whole class. I like the titles and the audio was great! I liked the music too. Great job!
Svetlana--
I liked your podcast and topic. I think your final project will be very useful when you teach your graphics class. Students always like videos, so your final project will be even more interesting to them. The slides and stock photos you used were also appropriate and helped engage the viewer. Nice job!

Your voice was very clear and loud and that was a good thing because you projected yourself very well. The lighting was good and using another light really helped to brighten up the set. Personally I think it might have been better if you looked at the camera when you were speaking but it does not really take away from the material being presented if that was a certain effect you were going for. I look forward to seeing your final video project.
Scott.
Svetlana,
Good job on this podcast - I think your lighting worked very well for this production. Your title slides were effective in breaking up with podcast and leading me into the next segment. I enjoyed all the different photos and how they correlated with your research topic. Good job and good luck with any future podcasts!
Svetlana,
You did great job on this podcast. I like the way you tied two different perspectives of PR and graphic design. This podcast is well-organized and it was easy to follow your ideas.
On source section, I really like that you showed several books for students can get the main information of graphic design. It will be really helpful to students who want to learn graphic design. Mostly it is hard for beginners to find which information and at where. I'll look forward your video project.
Nice job!
Hi Svetlana, I thought you did a very good job with your final podcast. I liked your topic and what you plan on doing with the knowledge you gained in this class in the near future. I think it is a very good plan. I liked the camera framing and the sound was very good. The lighting was very good as well. Your use of b-roll was timed nicely and added an overall nice touch to your podcast. I liked the sources you plan on sharing with the class. The choice of music was pleasing and the transitions were smooth. Well done. Khorosho!
I thought you did an excellent job producing this podcast. Your topic is interesting and you explain it well. I liked the fact that you used images and titles, it added variety to your podcast and lets viewers know what you are talking about. Great job on the lighting, and like Rob said, it gave your podcast a nice warm feeling. I also liked how you included your sources with your pictures, it kept my interest and acted as good transitions. Your podcast flowed well and the audio with the titles went well together. Overall, great job on your final podcast!
You did a good job on this podcast. Your topic seems interesting, I will have to check out the finished product. I liked the title slides, helped structure the cast. I agree with Scott that it was a little distracting with you looking off screen. It kind of took my attention away from you. Other than that I think you did a good job. Your voice was clear and the podcast was produced well. Nicely done.
Svetlana,
I think you did a great job on your last podcast! The audio and framing was good. I think your lighting was good, the lamps add a lot of warmth to the shot. Overall, you did a great job!
