How do we get News everyday?

Svetlana, I liked your choice of music throughout the podcast. It was a nice touch. It seems like you are interested in worldly news. I'm sure being away from your home country makes you want to connect with it somehow and you can do that with global news. You did a good job of illustrating that fact. You forgot to put credits up at the end of the podcast, not a huge problem but Youngblood wants them. I like your closing on how you were going to listen to the news through a podcast on your phone. It was a nice transition of you leaving the frame by leaving your apartment.

Scott.

I liked the podcast too. It was fun, short and upbeat. I thought I'd throw you a news story I read the other day about the environmental friendliness of online papers. It's interesting to say the least. http://www.ecogeek.org/content/view/1402/1/
I liked the use of your family too. Do you think you're daughter will use paper versions to get her news when she is older or will the internet make them obsolete by the time she is our age?

Svetlana, this was a very good second podcast. I liked how you showed the differences between you and your husband as far as where you get your news. I agree with Scott that your ending transition with listening to a podcast on your phone as you leave was a great touch. Good work and I look forward to your future podcasts.

Great second podcast. I really like the different angles you used. The music also added a lot. The comparison between the way you and your husband get news was also a nice touch. While you showed a shot if the newspaper, it might have been nice to show a shot of the computer screen on the New York Times website. You had a couple of hot spots when the camera was at a low angle, while it was not that bad, it can be distracting. Like others have mentioned, I really like the ending transition of you leaving, I think if you had actually walked out and had the door close, it would be a more prominent ending transition. Good job and I am looking forward to your next one.

I like the intro. This needs a bit more of a blog entry. In the section around 1:46, you need to look a bit more towards the camera. The direction would work if you were switching between people. The overall feel works well, but I'd like to see a little more information in it. Some screen shots of the Times would have been a good idea. You might also have talked a bit about RSS feeds and how the technology fits into the Web.
